Calibrate’s One-Year Metabolic Reset 

The One-Year Metabolic Reset uses a powerful combination of doctor-prescribed medication (GLP-1s), 1:1 accountability coaching, and simple lifestyle changes to improve your metabolic health for more sustainable weight loss. Our unique approach works: our first cohort of members lost an average of 14% of their body weight – exceeding the clinical trial results of 10% for patients taking GLP-1s alone. 

Program Costs

There are two components that make up the cost of the One-Year Metabolic Reset. The first component is the program cost, which would be covered by you. This amounts to roughly $31 a week, either billed monthly at $135 through Affirm, or billed once at $1620 on a credit card, debit card, or with an FSA. 

The second component is the cost of GLP-1 medication and lab work. Calibrate will help you get both your medication and lab costs covered by your commercial / employer insurance plan. At this time we are not able to accept federal or government insurance, including Medicare, Medicaid, or Tricare. This is due to legal restrictions in place around the patient populations that Calibrate doctors are able to treat.

Insurance & Calibrate 

Calibrate has been able to get GLP-1 medication covered for $25/month or less for over 95% of our members. We achieve this by doing three things: 

• Our team uses proprietary tools and data to help us get you a GLP-1 covered. We will do all the communicating with your insurance on your behalf, including handling insurance approvals where needed.  
• Our Medical Team explores all GLP-1 medication options that are clinically appropriate for you. Many doctors will only try one GLP-1 and stop there is it’s denied. At Calibrate, we’re  committed to exploring all available clinically appropriate options.
• We use patient access programs to help you get cost-effective coverage when possible. 
  

Medication Coverage Guarantee 

We offer everyone who signs up for Calibrate’s One-Year Metabolic Reset a Medication Coverage Guarantee. As part of our Medication Coverage Guarantee, we guarantee that if we cannot get your GLP-1 prescription covered for $25/month or less, you’re eligible for a refund from the program (full program fee, minus the cost of the first doctor’s appointment). 

Questions to Ask Yourself

• If you have a high-deductible plan, are you able to pay out of pocket for your GLP-1 medication until you reach your deductible (GLP-1 cost range: $800 - $1200 per month)?  
• If you have a high-deductible plan, do you have any anticipated surgeries or medical expenses this year that will result in you hitting your deductible sooner?
• Do you have an FSA? Calibrate is an FSA-eligible expense and now is a great time to use your FSA dollars before they expire.
